As a Utility Warehouse Partner I help people save money across their main essential home services: energy, broadband, mobile and insurance.
I am a Team Leader with UW and have helped many people become successful Partners, growing their own businesses under the UW brand. After success in senior in-house commercial and marketing roles (see below) I launched my own small marketing agency, BuzzedUp.
BuzzedUp worked on automotive, hospitality and consulting accounts. A notable success was taking a £3 million business to £10 million turnover in three years.
In 2022 I closed the limited company and now work one-to-one with a handful of loyal clients as an independent marketing consultant. This work fits perfectly with my UW role, above.
Back in the mists of time I earned my marketing chops promoting gigs in south London while working as a runner for video production companies. I landed a junior role at the Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC), was promoted a few times, then went freelance; the RSC was my first client, followed by other theatre and entertainment companies.
Moving to Bristol I ran client accounts for a business publisher while I studied part-time for the MA Marketing at Bristol Business School (part of UWE).
Later, as commercial manager, I was part of the team that devised and launched the StartUp Donut, the first of many award-winning business advice websites.
In an earlier life I played in bands and was signed to a subsiduary of Island Records for a couple of years.
