Corporate service providers Jordans called me to overhaul all its social media channels after a major company rebrand.
Jordans (now part of Vistra) are experts in corporate and commercial legal services, business insight and new company incorporations. In 2016, working with the in-house marketing team I reviewed Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Google+ and YouTube, before making recommendations and implementing visual and structural changes to all.
As is often the case with larger companies, several staff and departments had set up and managed social media accounts over quite a long time. Keeping these on-brand and relevant isn't easy with multiple departments and stakeholders in the mix. My task was to do a review and then unify the visual appeal of all social media under the new Jordans brand.
YouTube. I re-ordered, tagged and wrote descriptions for all video, making it searchable for the first time; I re-branding the full Jordans channel offer and created themed playlists, so the content was logically categorised and found.
Google+. There were several G+ accounts associated with Jordans (a common problem caused by Google itself). The challenge was to help the Jordans team disconnect unwanted associations and focus energies on a single entity. I also rebranded the G+ page using new assets and imagery.
LinkedIn. I re-branded and set up child Pages for a distinct businesses within the Jordans fold. I also conducted LinkedIn training with about 20 senior staff over two years.
Twitter. Re-branded and trained staff on using Twitter as a research and business development tool.
Facebook. As well as pulling Jordans YouTube video through to its Facebook audience, I built a standalone app within Facebook to showcase Jordans' full set of service offerings.
